Bayern Munich thrashed Wolfsburg 6-0 to clinch the Bundesliga for a record fifth straight season and give manager Carlo Ancelotti a title in a fourth top European league. It has been another season of domestic dominance for Bayern, who wrapped up their 27th championship with three games to go with a thumping win. Ancelotti's side have lost just twice in the league all season and were never troubled by out-of-sorts Wolfsburg. From the minute, Austrian left-back David Alaba fired Bayern ahead from a free-kick, the destination of three points and the title was not in doubt. Poland striker Robert Lewandowski scored twice before half-time to make the second 45 minutes a formality, while Arjen Robben added a trademark shot after cutting in from the right. Tennis: Andy Murray's Barcelona Open run ended by Dominic Thiem Dominic Thiem recorded the biggest win of his career as he ended world No 1 Andy Murray's hopes of reaching the final of the Barcelona Open. Murray, who entered the tournament to get more matches under his belt as he works his way back from an elbow injury, has gradually been improving over the course of the week, but was unable to cope with the powerful young Austrian in a brutal battle. Top-ranked Murray returned to action last week in Monte Carlo after more than a month on the sidelines but, having beaten Gilles Muller in his opening match, lost to Albert Ramos-Vinolas. He gained revenge over the Spaniard on Friday, but his hopes of claiming his fourth

The 27-year-old appeared to be on the brink of his first professional defeat when he was floored in the sixth round, but staged a severe onslaught to halt Klitschko in the 11th round. Joshua successfully defended his IBF title, while also claiming the WBA 'super' belt, but there could be calls for a rematch after a classic heavyweight unification clash in front of a record 90,000 crowd at the national stadium. Klitschko had overcome a heavy knockdown in the fourth and the former unified champion defied questions about his advancing age until he finally wilted to defeat after being floored twice more. A fiery pyrotechnic show was part of Joshua's ring walk, but he was unable to display his explosive power in a tentative first round as Klitschko kept him at bay with probing jabs.
