  Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has turned down the opportunity to join Premier League champions Chelsea, according to Sky sources. The Gunners had agreed to sell the England international to their London rivals for a fee believed to be £35m. Despite a fee being agreed between Arsenal and Chelsea, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain now wants to join Liverpool, according to the BBC. Oxlade-Chamberlain wishes to play centrally, and his desire to leave Arsenal stemmed from Arsene Wenger deploying him at a wing-back position. But the England international feels that Antonio Conte will also play him out wide at Chelsea, leaving him desiring a move to Jurgen Klopp's side instead. If no agreement can be reached, however, Oxlade-Chamberlain will stay at Arsenal. Liverpool signs Naby Keita for a club-record fee £48m

Liverpool have confirmed the agreement of a club-record deal to sign RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita next summer. The Reds will pay the £48m release clause that will allow Keita to join the club, as well as an undisclosed premium. Keita completed a medical on Monday and will officially join Liverpool on July 1 next year. The fee will also surpass the £39.5m paid to Roma for Mohamed Salah this summer. The Guinea international said: "I am delighted that an agreement has been reached and I will become part of a project that excites me greatly. "My commitment to RBL remains absolute for the remainder of my time at the club.
