Birmingham City manager, Harry Redknapp confirms interest in Super Eagles vice-captain Onazi




The Big Boss Harry Redknapp, has admitted he is keen on signing Ogenyi Onazi from Trabzonspor.

 Onazi could join the Championship side in a deal worth £4m.
 
Redknapp confirmed talks are well underway for the Super Eagles vice-captain, who threatened to terminate his contract with the Turkish club last month.

Speaking on the possible capture of the 24-year-old, Redknapp ‎said: “Onazi is someone we’re chasing, we’re trying to get him, hopefully but let’s see.”

 His agent Stephen Makinwa, was coy when OwnGoalNigeria asked him about the possible departure of his client.
He insisted that if a deal is done, it will be announced by the clubs involved in the transfer.

Romelu Lukaku named Everton Player of the Season by teammates and fans.

Romelu Lukaku thanked manager Ronald Koeman for making him a better footballer after being named Everton's Player of the Season by both his teammates and the supporters. Lukaku, 23, picked up the Players' Player of the Season award and the Player of the Season trophy chosen by Everton fans at the club's end-of-season awards night on Tuesday.
