Nigeria’s Super Eagles defeat Benin 2 – 1 to qualify for CHAN

The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Saturday qualified for CHAN holding in Kenya after they defeated Benin Republic 2-0 in the second leg of the play-off.

The home-based team defeated the visitors by 2-1 on aggregate in Kano.

The Eagles were in the first-leg defeated by a lone goal and needed to score at least two goals, which they eventually did.

The Benin side had a chance to bounce back when they won a penalty but Eagles goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa stopped the shot.
